Sandra Wittow was an active member of the Front Range Women group. The Front Range Women group advocated to end the discrimination against women in the arts.

I create a large body of work about a specific concept, such as metaphoric roses, seashells, fairy-tales, victims of war – such as Anne Frank and Kamakazi Pilots.
My one-artist exhibition at The Denver Art Museum was called “Disenchantment” and was about universal truths and feelings found in fairy tales. Vladimir Nabokov, my literature teacher, has been the greatest influence on my philosophy of what makes great art.
